IntelliALERT SDK provides an event/schedule triggered, agent based, platform neutral framework for developing and deploying monitoring and alerting to enterprise applications.

The IntelliALERT SDK consists of the following components

> Adapter/Connector: Information about the operating environment of the Enterprise has to be gathered before an intelligent BAM decision can be made. An adapter wraps each of these standard means of communicating with the environment data access points. > Channel: Alerting and providing real time information to various key people is one of the primary goals of the BAM product. Processed information has to be made available to users of the system using means convenient to them. IntelliALERT supports numerous channels such as E-Mail, popular Instant Messengers, SMS and Fax. Any of these means can be used as a mechanism for information delivery. > Event: An Event is a wrapper for any data that is given to the IntelliALERT system. External systems many a time have to send data to the BAM server. This information is used as the starting point for a BAM decision-making process or for integrating the data to an already existing context. > Agent: IntelliALERT has an agent-based architecture. The agent refers to a representation of the business rules and filters that are applied on the data. The agent can be defined in IntelliALERT by various means such as scripting, java class files and workflows.
