In these unpredictable times, when the world is gripped by the fear of the Covid 19 virus pandemic, companies still have to keep functioning by giving users the Work from Home options. Various governments are announcing packages, etc. to those immediately affected by the virus and those who might be affected.

In keeping with this trend, companies are following the Government directive of a lockdown, while working from home. Google itself has made available tools for users to work from home seamlessly. In that manner, users are safe and productivity is not affected significantly.

Google Cloud comes equipped with a slew of services that allow you to work from home or from wherever you are. All you need is a decent internet connection.

Data on Cloud

As the name suggests, all user data such as files are securely stored in the cloud. So, even if a user is at home or stuck abroad due to travel restrictions, he/she can still access files to ensure continuity of work.

Voice and Video Conferencing

The in-built facility of Hangouts, allows employees to have a web, voice or a video conference from anywhere to anywhere, as long as there is a decent internet connection. Up to 15 members can join a Hangout session. Additionally, Hangouts also offers the facility to share the screen of a user to enhance decision making.

Collaboration

One of the most important facilities, which is a part of Google Suite, is collaboration. This facility allows users to share a file securely (choosing which right to give the other users, i.e. view, edit, etc.) and people who can access this file can make concurrent changes to the file while having a voice or video discussion. This eliminates the chances of multiple files and multiple versions of the same file.

To conclude, you can continue working from home and stay safe from N-Covid19
